I'm not exactly sure what they are called, I'll have to take a pic and post it, someone might know then. They came in the same little plastic pack that the other dental tools came in, but I don't see how they can be used for dental procedures.

I have gotten some from my dentist too. They look at me kind of weird at first but then I explain and they are more than happy to give some they don't need anymore, but like Betsy said, they usually have one tip broken off.

I have an old pin with a glass ball head..if I lose it the whole house gets turned inside out until I find it again. I used to keep it in my ear (through the pierced earring hole) until DH stopped me. He said if I ever fell over I would pierce my jugular....silly man..it's not long enough! :lol The pin..not the vein ;D

Are they palate knives Chrissy?

You can also get dental tools from your dentist for free if you ask nicely  ;).  They'll give you the ones where one side is broken but the other side is perfectly fine.

I love using dental tools to make mini food. I got a couple of sets at a flea market, I got one set that had long flat heads, not sure if they are still technically dental tools, but they are great to use when mixing liquid fimo and clay to make frosting. I was using Popsicle sticks, but they kept breaking and even better to clean the flat headed tool you just bake it with your other stuff so you don't have to keep buying Popsicle sticks.  lol

Long fingernails come in handy - great substitute for tweezers.

I have that one table saw.  Its small but very effective and great for the straight, miter and compound cuts.

Has anyone got any of these?

We have a complete kit...

Mini drill
router
sander
circle saw
fret saw
engraver

This tools are fabulous for doing mini crafts.  You can have them on the side in the kitchen.  For my animal Head trophy back boards i would use the Hand sander...ideal for tiny corners..  The Drill is excellent for tiny holes, when making furniture...

All are available at most places that do DIY.   Expensive but worth the money to invest in..
